BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
Bryan Rall, president | Bryan is a great lover of theatre. He holds both a Master of physician assistant science and a Bachelor of Science degree from Gannon University and is currently working in the field of emergency medicine. As president and a founding board member, Bryan works closely with the artistic leadership of Dramashop to grow a healthy and viable organization. He has acted in several productions and his favorite character portrayal was Gabriel Conroy in Gannon University’s production of THE DEAD. Bryan is wholly committed to the power of discovery in the process of developing a theatrical production. He invites everyone, from novices to experts, to come make some discoveries along with Dramashop.
Domenic Del Greco, vice president | A graduate of Edinboro University with a B.A. in drama and English literature, Dom currently works as a Scenic Design/Education Assistant at the Erie Playhouse. Favorite roles include: Hunter in [title of show], Greg in reasons to be pretty (both Dramashop), Richard III in RICHARD III (Gannon’s Shakespeare Summer Nights), and Mark in RENT (Erie Playhouse). He also directed Dramashop’s THE PILLOWMAN.
Jessica Flock, secretary/treasurer | A graduate of Mercyhurst and Gannon Universities, she’s lived in Erie since 2005. A frequent volunteer with theater organizations in the area, she currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer for Dramashop. Directing credits include IN THE NEXT ROOM OR THE VIBRATOR PLAY for Dramashop, and acting credits include Dramashop’s [title of show] (Susan) and LES MISERABLES (Ensemble) at the Erie Playhouse. Jess is the Administrative Assistant/Book keeper for ArtsErie.
Fr. Shawn Clerkin, director emeritus | Fr. Shawn is director of theatre at Gannon University. With numerous local theatre credits, he recently played Jack in Dramashop’s RACE and Jean Valjean in the Erie Playhouse production of LES MISERABLES. Shawn holds an M.F.A. in directing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Shawn brings his years of experience and artistic expertise to Dramashop, serving as a chief adviser to the artistic director and helping us realize our commitment to artistic quality.
Susan Baxter | A federal magistrate by profession, Susan and her husband Don are longtime supporters of — and participants in — the arts in Erie. Having performed in several Erie Playhouse productions including HAIRSPRAY (Prudy Pingleton), Susan also served as president of the Erie Playhouse board of directors. Susan’s attention to detail and enthusiasm for creativity make her a valuable asset to Dramashop.
Zach Flock, artistic director | Zach manages the day-to-day operations of Dramashop, guiding the artistic direction of the company. Directing credits include Dramashop’s [title of show], Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead and reasons to be pretty, Book of Liz at Gannon’s Schuster Theatre and Shakespeare Summer Nights’ Macbeth, As You Like It, and King Lear. Acting credits include The Pillowman (Tupolski) and the Erie Playhouse’s The Producers (Leo Bloom). Zach has a B.A. in theatre and communication arts from Gannon and is pursuing a masters in public administration.
